The Role:

To provide general HR administrative support, together with processing employee benefit requests. Includes undertaking a range of administrative duties, following processes and managing HR data & systems to ensure accuracy at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Acting as first point of contact and response for HR queries by phone or email on behalf of the HR Team, escalating as appropriate.
  • Accurately administer key employee lifecycle processes (for example maternity/paternity/employee benefits changes).
  • Updating and maintaining HR systems, records and reports with accurate employee data.
  • Ensure employee files/information is accurate and updated, and assist with HR reporting and audit requests.
  • Processing changes to employee's circumstances, including preparing accurate and effective documentation/communication and updating relevant systems.
  • Support the new joiner onboarding process from start to finish, including checking right to work and benefits enrollment.
  • Providing administrative support to Talent Acquisition team as required including (but not limited to) opening job requisitions, scheduling interviews preparing contracts.
  • Processing leavers, including preparing accurate, relevant documentation and updating systems accordingly
  • Producing Management Information reports.
  • Ensuring that the end-to-end HR process supports a positive employee experience at all times.
  • Following existing HR processes accurately and challenging these for ongoing efficiencies.
  • Supporting HR priority projects.
  • Ensuring the records retention policy is adhered to.
  • Assist with maintaining HR related compliance.
  • Facilitate site events and activities to support employee engagement, wellness, etc.
  • Providing ad-hoc administrative support to the HR team, as necessary and in line with business requirements.

Qualifications: 

  • Previous HR administration experience.
  • Basic knowledge of HR processes, policies, and legislation.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and current HR information System(s).
  • Used to working under pressure and to tight deadlines with multiple stakeholders.
  • Confident, organised and to make decisions quickly.
  • Strong communicator with excellent written and spoken English.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Numerical skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Self-starter with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects.
  • Maintain standards of strict confidentiality with respect to all matters, information and documents.
  • College degree or equivalent education and experience.
