The Role:

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager role is responsible for identifying, acquiring, assessing, and hiring candidates to fill open positions within our company. Delivering full life cycle recruiting, the TA Manager will use their abilities to source, screen and prepare candidates for interviews with hiring managers. They will manage the approval to hire/approval to offer process and create job offer letters on behalf of the HR function.

As the public face of the company during the recruiting process, the TA Manager ensures that a positive candidate experience is achieved, from the initial application to the final on-boarding process. They maintain awareness of competitor practices, industry trends and recruitment standards. A key member of the HR team, the TA Manager also partners with members of the HR team on projects as relevant.


  • Experience of the biotech or pharma industry
  • Experience in the recruitment of roles in pharmaceutical research and development
  • Direct experience of job screening, hiring practices and TA.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and human resource information systems (HRIS).
  • Familiarity with Office applications as well as popular social media platforms, such as Facebook and LinkedIn, are a must.
  • Basic knowledge of contracts, such as non-disclosure agreements and service level agreements.
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle recruitment process is required.
  • Knowledge of ethical and professional recruitment standards along with an understanding of diversity considerations.
  • High degree of attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with Affirmative Action recruitment compliance and outreach.
  • Degree level qualification, or equivalent knowledge required
